“Limerance” (2025) can be seen as a trompe l’oeil of a frame within a frame, a series of planes organized through a scientific grid, or a study of perspectives where a faint outline of a gothic monastery emerges out of a hazy violet mist. The monochromatic use of blue hues suggests the space rendered is seen through the mind’s eye rather than a realistic depiction of real, tangible space. The title refers to a crystalization of all-consuming sentiments for another being.
